1. Priestley House Marker
Inscription. Built as the home of Dr. James Priestley, one of Canton's early physicians and first postmaster, the Priestley House is a 19th-century Greek Revival-style home constructed ca. 1852. The house remained in the Priestley family until the early 1990s. The Priestley House was restored in 2008.
 
Erected 2009 by Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
