Constructed in 1984
Translated as "the young chef," Le Jeune Chef is a restaurant that presents a fine-dining experience at the heart of the Pennsylvania College of Technology campus.
Open to the public, the restaurant offers a gourmet menu and one of the region's most extensive wine lists in this unique teaching-learning environment.
Education in Fine Dining , Penn College culinary and hospitality students are privileged to work in the restaurant with visiting chefs who are among the world's most renowned professionals.
Students who practice their skills in Le Jeune Chef also cater national events including the Kentucky Derby and participate in important industry competitions, including the International Culinary Olympics.
Community service also is practiced by Baking and Pastry Arts students who create holiday chocolate houses that are auctioned to support Habitat for Humanity - "a house for a home."

Prior to the construction of Le Jeune Chef next to the Hager Lifelong Education Center, instructional kitchens were located in the Klump Academic Center and meals were served in adjacent classrooms.
