1. United Methodist Church Marker
Inscription. Outgrowth of interdenominational Sunday School Class begun by Mrs. Fannie Donavan. Organized as Scott's Station Methodist Church, Rev. Joseph Nicholson first pastor. Land for first church given by Henry Ware in 1879. Only Protestant church in community until 1890. Revival in 1904 conducted by Rev. J. L. Sells doubled membership. Second building erected 1904, served as sanctuary until 1950. Mary Abarr Sunday School building erected 1928. Women's Missionary Society gave $2000 as "seed money" for third sanctuary completed in 1950. H. J. Moore Educational Building erected 1963. Present sanctuary dedicated Nov. 1987.
 
Erected 1999 by Long Beach Historical Society and Long Beach United Methodist Church.
