A l'occasion de l'inauguration officielle des travaux de rénovation du centre municipal de Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, le conseil municipal tient à souligner le travail et le dévouement de tous les bénévoles qui ont contribué, de près ou de loin, à la construction de cet édifice en 1948-49 et à honorer plus particulièrement les membres du premier conseil d'administration du "center paroissial", nom sous lequel était connu cet édifice à l'époque, soit messieurs:
