1. Historic Lowe Hotel Marker
Inscription. The Mutual Realty Company had this Cleveland berea stone and red brick building erected and was named The Spencer Hotel in honor of Honorable J. S. Spencer as an enduring monument. The doors were opened to the Spencer Hotel in 1904. A barbershop, saloon, storeroom, and the Merchants National Bank occupied the ground floor. It became the Lowe Hotel in 1929 when purchased by Homer Lowe.
