1. 313 Main Street Marker
Inscription. G.W.M. Hoff built a frame opera house in 1884. In 1886 he erected a brick opera house which three years later was destroyed by fire. In 1889 he rebuilt the brick structure containing an up to date opera house with a seating capacity of 800. It also housed the mayor’s office, businesses and residence flats.
