Inscription.  This memorial is dedicated to the men from West Liberty and community who have served our nation in it’s conflicts The aristocracy of today is not one of birth or wealth but of those who do things for the welfare of their fellowmen.

Dedicated Nov. 12, 1933
 
Erected 1933 by American Legion Post #426.
