5. Rumson Veterans Monument (1975-1985 and 1965-1975 face)
Note the 30-inch-by-40-inch bronze eagle on the top of the monument was vandalized and removed from the monument. It will likely be replaced this summer.

7. Rumson Veterans Monument (Bronze Eagle)
The 30-inch-by-40-inch bronze eagle on the top of the monument created a controversy, as some feared the combined height of 8½ feet of this monument would overshadow other monuments in the park.
