Inscription.

Formerly enslaved, the Reverend Levi Price and his wife Lizzie Price were members of the original church. The Reverend Levi Price served as the first pastor of Reedy Creek Missionary Baptist Church, the only African American Church in the area. On Sunday, December 17, 2017, Reedy Creek Missionary Baptist Church celebrated its sesquicentennial anniversary.
