to the town of Smiley/Nisswa,
on the occasion of its
Centennial Celebration.
Settled in 1886.
Became Village of Smiley in 1898.
Organized as township in 1900.
Became Nisswa in 1908.

Location. 46° 31.337′ N, 94° 17.4′ W. Marker is in Nisswa, Minnesota, in Crow Wing County. It is on Lower Cullen Road north of Park Street (City Hall Street), on the right when traveling north. Marker is located in front of the railroad caboose exhibit, directly across the street from the Nisswa Area Historical Society and Paul Bunyan State Trail parking lot. Touch for map.
