Regarding Ruland Homestead. This is the home of one of the Town of Rush's earliest settlers. Land purchased in 1810 by Jeremiah Ruland and remained in family for 120 years when granddaughter sold the farm. A rathskeller operated in basement circa 1900; meals were served on terraced lawn.
