Inscription.  In 1983, the Public Safety Building opened. This building was formerly the Lincoln School, a public school for African-American students.
 
Erected by Student Government Association, Frostburg State University.
 
Location. 39° 39.147′ N, 78° 56.037′ W. Marker is in Frostburg, Maryland, in Allegany County. Marker is on University Drive south of Planetarium Drive, on the right when traveling south.
