Barker Hotel. . The Barker is the last of four hotels to occupy this site. First occupied by the Roseville Hotel-1870, later sold for six-wagons-and-a-mule, replaced by Ross House-1891 and the Western Hotel-1899.
The Barker Hotel and Bar opened-1911 and have since been in continuous operation. Roseville's first police station, first bus line, first taxi stand were located here, as was the popular Barker Grill
