1. Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Marker
Inscription. Two groups of veterans who had served in Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Philippines and China merged into the American Veterans of Foreign Service on September 13 - 15, 1905, at the Eastside Theatre in Altoona. The new group was a forerunner of the V. F. W. founded in 1914.
