1. Three Ton Tire Marker
Inscription. Built by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio, this enormous truck tire stands nearly 12 feet tall and weighs over 6,500 pounds! Used on open-pit mining trucks that can carry up to 240 tons of ore at one time, this tire was actually used at the Asarco Mission Mine in Arizona. The tire contains enough rubber to make 395 normal-sized car tires.
