1. Old Stevensville Post Office Marker
Inscription. The precise construction date of this building is not yet known, but the structure appears on an 1877 map and served as the Stevensville Post Office for the first half of the 20th century. The government paid rent of $18.75 per month and $25 per year to heat the structure. Between 1951 and 1997, a variety of small businesses occupied this small building that is only 730 square feet. It was acquired by the Kent Island Heritage Society in 1997 and currently serves as the Society's headquarters.
