1. Pine Wold Marker

Inscription. Begun in 1903 by lumberman T.M. Jones. Remodeled to present appearance 1919 by oilman J.P. Evans. Architect Ed Neild, Sr. used its interior moldings as models for White House under President Truman. Property originally part of Mighty Haag Circus wintering grounds. Circus elephant Trilby buried somewhere on site.

Erected by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau.
