Inscription.  As one of the most dominating pitchers in franchise history, Higuera played his entire career in a Brewers uniform. Enjoyed instant success as the A.L. The following year Higuera established himself as one of the best pitchers in Baseball with 20 wins, a 2.79 ERA, 15 complete games, 207 strikeouts, an A.L. All-Star selection and A.L. Cy Young runner-up. Collected 18 wins and set a Brewers record for strikeouts in a season (240) and consecutive scoreless innings (33) in 1987. Led the A.L. in WHIP (.999) and finished second in ERA (2.45) in 1988.
