1. Planter's Hotel Marker
Inscription.  
405 Market. 1810-20 Federal. This large brick structure was one of the well known inns along the Natchez Trace. The famous actor Joseph Jefferson was a guest here. This is one of the oldest buildings in Claiborne County.
