1. Luther's Seal Marker

Inscription. Dr. Martin Luther's seal was designed in 1530 while he was staying at the Coburg Fortress during the Diet of Augsburg. A black cross reminds of Christ, the center of faith, which is believed by the heart. The white rose symbolizes the joy, comfort and peace that faith brings. The blue sky is for the promise of heaven, and is surrounded by a ring of gold, because the gift of salvation is more valuable than all treasure.
