Inscription. The fourth overall pick by the Brewers in 1986, Vaughn played eight of his 15 seasons in Milwaukee, splitting time between the outfield and DH. One of baseball's best power hitters of his time, Vaughn collected two of his five career All-Star appearances as a Brewer (1993 & 1996). Enjoyed his best Brewers season in 1993, hitting 30 home runs with 97 runs, 97 RBI and a .482 SLG. The first player in franchise history with 15 or more home runs in seven consecutive seasons. Vaughn was the club's most productive player during the 1990s, leading the Brewers in several categories, including games, home runs, total bases, runs and RBI. Finished Brewers career ranked fifth on the club's all-time home run list.
