Erected 1933 by Delaware County Chapter of American War Mothers.
 
Location. 40° 11.249′ N, 85° 24.365′ W. Marker is in Muncie, Indiana, in Delaware County. Memorial can be reached from West Kilgore Avenue (Indiana Route 32) just west of West 2nd Street, on the right when traveling west. marker is in Beech Grove Cemetery, in the “Legion 1” section, south of the railroad.
