The Hotel Seville. . The hotel opened on October 5, 1929 and was erected at a cost of $135,000. The Spanish Moorish design is built of brick, cement and steel making it virtually fire proof. Scaracenic Arches mark the front entries The Seville served for years as Harrison's finest social and civic meeting place. The property has passed through a series of management and names. In April of 2008, it was purchased by PFI Hospitality. Since then the 1929 Hotel Seville has completed $3.5 million restoration and now boasts 57 rooms, a first class restaurant and again hosts events of distinction. It is truly one of Harrison's most valued jewels.
