English translation (Google):
St-Éleuthère Station
For the construction of the railway, a workers' camp, for mostly Italians and Poles, had been set up in St-Éleuthera, on the other side of the Boucannée river. Two of them will settle in the region: the blaster Amédée Sozio, and Magloire Ouellet, a doctor serving the injured of this work, who will become the first resident doctor.

Estcourt Station
Because of its proximity to the U.S. border, Estcourt played a big role in the "bootlegging" period. The train is used to carry large loads of liquor. At night, containers of alcohol are stored in cars loaded with wood from sawmills, the D'Auteuil Lumber, among others.

Gare de Sully
The atmosphere of our small stations was very special: the crackling of the telegraph, the blatant lighting and the smell of oil lamps, the coal stove in the middle

of the square that everyone feeds if necessary, the crates of fruits and vegetables that clutter the place and the stationmaster busy deciphering the telegrams... Each arrival goes to the ticket counter to buy their ticket and ask: "Is the train on time? No.” In winter, the train was rarely on time!
