Inscription.  Högsta förvaltningsdomstolen huse rar i forna Per Sparres palats.

The Supreme Administrative Court is today sited in the former palace of Per Sparre, built in 1647. The entrances are restored and the palace façade returned to its original colour.

Queen Kristina gave the land to Per Sparre, Member of the Privy Council, in 1635. The palace was built in the style of a small French country chateau with a large terrace facing Riddarfjärden, green windows set in what resembled cut stone and girder anchors of iron, giving it a lavish appearance.

Professor David von Schultzenheim bought the palace in 1763. In 1775, it became the first Public Maternity Hospital (BB). The Crown bought the palace in 1776 and the Board of Admiralty then used it for nearly 150 years. The Swedish National Audit Office used it until 1967 when the Administrative Court moved in.

Sparreska Palace has undergone many restorations. In Erik Sparre's days, it was one floor lower than now. The latest restoration finished in 2011. 250 windows were renovated and rotten hardwood replaced with wood from slow
