1. Sears Fine Food Marker
Inscription. In 1924, Hilda and Ben Sears opened a restaurant in San Luis Obispo, California. Their signature dish was "Dollar size little pancakes" from an old family recipe. The restaurant was relocated in 1938 and over the years has become a "Landmark family restaurant" of the City.

On May 1, 1950, the State of California granted Trade Mark No. 97188 to Sears Pancake Mix.
