1. Shipman-Mills House Marker
Inscription. Built 1852 for J.B. Shipman, purchased 1877 by Elizabeth and M.C. Professor J.L. Mills whose descendants were occupants until 1961. Mills establishes Elizabeth College for women in 1893.
 
Erected by The Rotary Club of Marietta.
