Would your hobby take you to the four corners of the world?

Few private plant collectors have approached their hobby with more enthusiasm than the late William Gotelli who travelled the world in search of unusual conifers, collecting more than 1500 plants for his garden in South Orange, New Jersey.

Concerned that his collection be preserved for future generations, Gotelli donated his beloved conifers to the U.S. National Arboretum in 1962.

Take a walk along the grassy paths to discover this unique collection.
