(English translation:) In 1922, Margrét Zoëga had the building constructed according to the plans by the builder Jens Eyjólfsson. It was constructed on the site of the Reykjavik Hotel, which was burned down in the Reykjavik Fire of 1915. The house was two storeys until 1970, when it was raised by three floors. The house was originally designed and built in the Jugendstil.
Erected 2012 by Reitir.
