1. Joseph Peters Marker
Inscription.  A founder of the first bank in Florissant and of the Florissant Canning Factory, he owned the Joseph Peters Furniture Company in St. Louis. He has been described as "one of the industrial builders of St. Louis." His home stood on the grounds of the 1970 City Hall and he is responsible for many of its beautiful trees.
