1. Nike-Black Brant Marker
Inscription.  This is a two-stage sounding rocket used for scientific research. Black Brant represents a family of Canadian-built rockets that date back to 1956. The rocket's name comes from a type of goose that inhabits both Canada and NASA's Wallops Island, Virginia, facility.
