1. Javelin (Argo D-4) Marker
Inscription. The Javelin, one of NASA's largest sounding rockets, has been used to study radio astronomy, and ionospheric and magnetospheric phenomena. Javelin can carry a 65 kg payload to a 800 km altitude. NASA's first Javelin was launched in 1959.
