1. Halsey C. Ives Mansion Marker
Inscription. Halsey Ives was the first director of the St. Louis Art Museum. He was married to Margaret Lackland, daughter of one of Overland's original landowners. Purchased in 1925 by Dr. John O'Connell, the estate hosted dances during the WWII "big band" era.
