Regarding Tanner Corner. The brick building on the northwest corner once belonged to Moorpark’s first Fire Chief, Ira G. Tanner, who settled in Moorpark in 1913. Tanner owned the Mission Garage and gas station, which was just a wooden building until the brick faηade was built in 1917.

This building does not appear on any California Historical Register list.
