1. 109 Prince Street Marker

Inscription. Designed in the French Renaissance style by J. Morgan Slade and built in 1882 by Architectural Iron Works, Cheney & Hewlett, 109 Prince Street had been described as one of the most sparkling gems of 19th Century cast iron architecture in the world. Completely restored in 1993, it was awarded the prestigious Landmark Certificate of Merit by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, signed by Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani in 1994
