Warren in Macomb County, Michigan — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
Cutrubes-Seefried Home
1932
This Federal Style home, built by Alexander and Helen Cutrubes, remained in the family until 1978 when it was sold to Walter and Sarah Fuelberth and restored to its original glory.
The home features 9' ceilings, plaster crown moldings, 15" thick walls, and solid wood floors throughout. Original art deco light fixtures remain in the entrance hall and all bedrooms.
In 1988, Andrew and Janet Seefried became the third owners of the home. They added a new kitchen, laundry and conservatory in 2008, yet maintained the architectural integrity of the home.
The immense garage housed the popular Al's Collision from the 1940s-1970s.
