Inscription.
His dazzling performance on the tightwire won him center-ring stardom with “The Greatest Show On Earth.” He began his act impersonating a drunken man who, after staggering and stumbling on the wire, accomplished feats which only a master of his art could achieve. His act was climaxed by an unparalleled backward somersault through a hoop to land perfectly on the wire. After retiring he launched his own show, Hubert Castle’s International Circus.
