Los Quiros
Circus Ring Of Fame
Renowned as sixth-generation circus artist from Madrid, Spain, the troupe was comprised originally of brothers Angel, Vincente and Roberto, and their sister Mari, all trained by patriarch Vincente Quiros, Sr. Their high-speed dancing on the silver strand with a distinctive Spanish flair, daring sword dueling, innovative and heart-stopping leaps from shoulder-stands to the wire, and extreme jumps over two and three wire-seated performers, never failed to excite audiences. They were the first to perform on double high wires. Following European engagements, they appeared in the U.S. in 1986 through 2001 with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey. They won the Golden Clown at the prestigious Monte Carlo International Circus Festival in 2002, the first time the trophy went to high wire artists. Los Quiros, having been seen world-wide, in 2007 became part of the Cirque Du Soleil’s “Kooza”.
Erected 2020 by Aurelia Canestrelli Nock, Diane and Paul Gutheil and the Circus Ring of Fame Foundation.
