The Carrillos
Circus Ring Of Fame
Originally from Columbia, the internationally acclaimed, duo-generational high-wire group was comprised at times of Pedro, Sr., Pedro, Jr, Tatjana Carrillo, Daniel and Luis Acosta and Luis E. Posso. Their repertoire included sliding down inclined wire, seven-person pyramid, standing leapfrog, jumping revolving balance pole and skywalks without a pole. They competed and won three Silver Clowns at the Monte Carlo Festival, 1st Place at the Cirque Du Massy, France, Gold at ORFEI in Italy and 1st Place at Apeldoorn, Holland. Their wire on RBBB was 42 feet high. Sr. is noted for his ease of balance and toying with crowds into believing he was falling. Jr. is famed for performing over open tiger cage, dodging a flaming pendulum, backward somersaults and Guinness Records for jump roping. Luis Acosta is famed for his charisma and fancy footwork and holds record for backward rope skips. Jr. and Luis appeared in Cirque Du Soleil over 8 years.
Erected 2020 by Pam and Warren Hamilton and the Circus Ring of Fame Foundation.
