Author, journalist, historian, biographer and lover of all things circus. Friend to trouper and fan alike, his fascination with the circus began as a child and consumed his life for the next seventy-five years, including forty-nine as editor and publisher of Bandwagon, the Journal of the Circus Historical Society. He made it into the world’s most respected and authoritative publication of its type in the nearly 300 issues he created.
