Miguel Vazquez
Circus Ring of Fame
One of the greatest flyers of all time, he astounded the circus world when, in 1981, he accomplished a feat that had eluded every human and which was universally deemed to be impossible. It was the legendary “Quad”, four somersaults in mid air to the grasp of his catcher, and then swinging back to the platform from which he started. With support from his brothers Juan, the catcher, Felipe, and other flyers Rosa, Patricia and Milton, he performed the Quad on every major circus around the globe, succeeding in its execution a remarkable 85% of his attempts, an amazing 2,987 times.
Erected 2015 by Lucy Segrera and Phillip Weyland.
