Inscription.

True originators in the art of perch-pole balancing, their career spanned 30 years starting in the 1940’s. Original members from Mexico were Jorge del Moral, Manuel del Moral and Mavicha Pacheco-Atayde. Upon Mavicha’s retirement, Monty Kirklan joined the act, followed by Manuel’s daughter Carmen. While Manuel balanced a 25’ perch-pole on his forehead, Jorge would scurry up the pole to perform feats including the difficult one-arm stand and head-balance. They first came to the U.S. with the Dailey Brothers Circus, and spent many years with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Internationally they appeared with top circuses, on TV, and toured with the Harlem Globetrotters.
