Dieter Tasso
Circus Ring Of Fame
A juggler who for six decades has astounded audiences with his trademark routine in which, while mounted on a slackwire, he uses his foot to toss as many as ten pairs of cups and saucers, plus spoon, teapot, and sugar cube, into a stack atop his head. All the time bantering with the audience with his irrepressible humor. German born to a juggling family, an uncle began training him at age 13 and within five years he was starring in the center ring of the Greatest Show on Earth. Attesting to his popularity have been such lengthy engagements as at Paris’ Crazy Horse Saloon for 22 years and with the Tommy Bartlett Show for a like number of seasons.
