Emmett Kelly, the most famous clown of his time, will always be remembered as the creator of “Weary Willie” a clown whose sad face and original antics delighted circus audiences here and abroad. Thanks to Kelly’s rare gift for pantomime, “Weary Willie” became so popular that he was featured for 14 years with “The Greatest Show On Earth”
