1. Henry F. Koch Marker
Inscription. He was Florissant's first full-time salaried City Clerk, serving from 1950 to 1960. In that ten year period, the population of Florissant increased 921%. In 1960, he was elected as the first full-time Mayor and the last Mayor under the 1857 Charter. He spent 10 years with the St. Louis Cardinals as a pitcher.

Regarding Henry F. Koch. Koch also served as Director of Elections in Saint Louis County, beginning in 1965. Between 1974 and his retirement in 1985, he was state director of elections for Missouri Secretary of State James C. Kirkpatrick. He played in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system. The Henry F. Koch Park in Florissant is named in his honor.
