Inscription. Frank and Jo married in 1943 and opened Korte Hardware, 610 St. Francois, in 1946. Devoted to family and faith they put a priority on community service with leadership roles in Fire Department, Hospital, Chamber, Valley of Flowers, Historical Preservation, St. Ferdinand Shrine, Knights, Rotary, Marygrove and others receiving prestigious recognition. Married over 50 years raising 11 children, their successful hard work and commitment is an example of dedication to inspire future generations of Florissant Families.
