Inscription. Maison d’accueil pour les filles du roi et premier école de la Pointe-Saint-Charles construite sur une terre partiellement concédée á Marguerite Bourgeoys par M. De Maisonneuve et exploitée par la Congrégation de Notre-Dame depuis 1662.

Farm ceded in part by M. De Maisonneuve to Marguereite Bourgeoys under the direction of the C.N.D. since 1662. Used a residence for the king’s wards. First school in Point Saint Charles.
