Clayton Cash Store
In 1910, Hans Rasmussen purchased the general store and called it the Clayton Cash Store, which also sold Red Crown gasoline and served as the Post Office. The building was razed in 1930s.
In 1937, George Murchio built a cottage, now Spipolini's, as a home for his sister, Dolly Murchio Foubert who was the postmaster through 1952. Dolly operated the Post Office from her home. She planted the Deodar Cedar which towers over the property today.
Several other businesses occupied the property over the years, including an antique store. For a short time the Clayton City offices were in this building beginning in August 1967.
Lester "Skip" and Bev Ipsen purchased the property in May of 1974 and started their pizza business. Their son Kent and wife Yvette now own and operate the business.
