Edward R. Jones
Edward R. Jones was sworn in for his second consecutive term as the 7th mayor of the city of Grambling on December 30, 2014. He previously served two terms on the Grambling City Council and as Mayor Pro Tempore during his second term as councilman. His focus on economic development and enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Grambling led to the establishment of the Legends Square commercial district.
Prior to becoming an elected official, Mayor Jones
served as a professor of English at Grambling
State University and he held the position of
President of the World Conference of Mayors
