Inscription. The Rosewood Tract was developed from 1925 to the beginning of World War II during Ontario's transition from an agricultural colony to a city. Rosewood Court's diverse architectural styles depict the influence of European architecture during World War I and World War II. Moreover, Period Revival style homes exist side by side, block after block, making this the largest cluster within the City. Most notably are French Provincial, Tudor, and Colonial Revival. Since most neighborhoods in Ontario consist of Craftsman Bungalows style homes with some Mediterranean style homes, this neighborhood is quite unique.
